Welcome, and thank you for visiting Hood River Fire and EMS on the City of Hood River website.

The fire service is proud of its history and our 102 years of service. We respect and learn from our past and those who have served before us.   Our personnel are dedicated to protecting your lives, property and well being. I am proud to be associated with this outstanding group of professionals.

The concept of the fire service has come to include much more than fighting fires. Hood River Fire-EMS has always boldly faced its challenges and quickly responded to changes in the fire service and within our community. As we continue to experience growth in our community your Fire Department will strive to maintain the best services available.  If we can do anything to help your family or business stay safe, please contact us.
